Position Overview
The Goshen Central School District is seeking responsible, safety-focused individuals to serve as School Bus Drivers. This position involves driving a school bus on an assigned route and may include minor vehicle maintenance duties. Drivers play a vital role in ensuring students arrive safely and on time while fostering a positive and respectful environment on the bus. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Head Bus Driver or Supervisor of Transportation, following established policies and procedures. Drivers are expected to exercise independent judgment in carrying out daily responsibilities and perform related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license at the appropriate level (as determined by appointing authority) Must be at least 21 years of age
Special Requirement
Candidates must satisfy the requirements for School Bus Driver as set forth in the Rules and Regulations of the New York State Commissioner of Education, as determined by review and approval of the appointing authority.
