The Goshen Central School District is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) to provide
per diem nursing coverage for after-school activities and school-sponsored events at C.J. Hooker
Middle School and Goshen High School. The RN will provide nursing assessment, care, and emergency response for students participating
in after-school activities, including athletics, extracurricular activities, performances, and other
District-sponsored events. Duties may include responding to student illness or injury,
administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and District
procedures, implementing student-specific health care plans as applicable, maintaining
appropriate documentation, and collaborating with school personnel and families as needed. | Per Diem |

Job Description The Goshen Central School District is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) to provide
per diem nursing coverage for after-school activities and school-sponsored events at C.J. Hooker
Middle School and Goshen High School.
The RN will provide nursing assessment, care, and emergency response for students participating

Qualifications Required:
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license and registration.
- Ability to provide nursing care to school-age children and adolescents within the scope of professional nursing practice.
- Ability to respond appropriately to student medical needs and emergencies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, coaches, advisors, administrators, and other school personnel.
- Current compliance with applicable NYSED professional requirements.
Preferred: - School nursing, pediatric, or community health nursing experience.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
- Experience working with students with complex medical needs.
- Familiarity with school health procedures, medication administration, and student health care plans.

| Substitute Teacher Aides | | SUBSTITUTE TEACHER AIDE $17.00 Hourly This is non-professional work involving responsibility for assisting school teachers in the performance of their non-teaching duties through a variety of activities related to the learning process. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a certified teacher, administrator, or a senior official in accordance with well-established procedures. Does related work as required. - Works with small groups of children reviewing repetitive classwork;
- Corrects papers and records grades under direction of a teacher;
- Accompanies and supervises students in other school activities such as assembly programs, field trips, playgrounds, cafeteria, etc.;
- Assists with arrangements and preparations for science demonstrations, music and art classes, audio-visual presentations, etc.;
- Proctors and assists in the administration of various tests;
- Performs a variety of clerical work related to teaching activities, such as typing, copying, filing and distributing information, preparing teaching aids, keeping classroom records and attendance, etc.;
- May assist in crisis intervention and assist in classroom management as directed by the teacher;
- May assist children with disabilities to maintain a normal school routine, including, but not limited to, bus arrivals and departures, cafeteria help, toileting, emergency exit during evacuation drills, lifting, carrying when needed;
- May arrange parent conferences under direction of teacher;
- May relieve classroom teachers for emergencies and meetings as needed;
- May perform food service, school monitor or custodial/cleaner duties on a substitute basis
