Description:
The Goshen Central School District is seeking a qualified Long-Term Substitute Elementary Teacher for the C.J. Hooker Middle School. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, standards-based instruction that supports the academic and emotional growth of our students. The candidate will create a positive learning environment, collaborate with colleagues and families, and implement district curriculum to meet the diverse needs of all learners. 

Certification Requirements:

  • Valid NYS Certification in:

  • Elementary Education (Grades 1-6), or

  • Elementary Education (birth- Grade 6/PK-6

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of New York State Learning Standards
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Strong classroom management and instructional practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment
