LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER - SPANISH

N.Y.S. Certification is Required SPANISH 7-12
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish language instruction aligned with the New York State Learning
Standards for World Languages (Grades 7–12).
Foster the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.
Integrate cultural perspectives, practices, and products of Spanish-speaking communities into instruction.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to promote growth.
Utilize technology and digital resources to enhance language learning.
Collaborate with colleagues in the World Languages Department and across disciplines.
Maintain accurate records, attendance, and grading in accordance with district policies.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and administrators.
Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture.
Qualifications:
Required:
Valid NYS Certification in Spanish 7–12
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field
Strong command of the Spanish language and familiarity with cultural contexts
